Tour Overview & Description

All-Wood Oceanfront Architectural Wonder, Four Cosmological Wings & Master Woodcarving

Rising dramatically over the rocky shores of Cape Ratchavate in North Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth Museum (Prasat Sut Ja-Tum) is an awe-inspiring, 105-meter-tall monumental structure constructed entirely from seasoned Thai hardwood. Built without a single metal nail, the entire temple-castle employs traditional interlocking wood joinery techniques handed down through generations of master artisans.

Conceived in 1981 by visionary Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphant, the sanctuary serves as an architectural homage to traditional Asian spiritual philosophy, cosmic creation, and filial piety. As an active construction and preservation site, visitors wear safety helmets while exploring intricately carved sanctuaries illustrating Thai, Khmer, Chinese, and Indian cosmological traditions alongside working master craftsmen.
